Yoshihisa Kawahara is a Japanese voice actor and narrator born on June 22, 1976, in Tokyo, Japan. He is affiliated with Across Entertainment, having previously been a member of Kekke Corporation and Atomic Monkey.

Kawahara began his professional career in the early 2000s. One of his earliest notable roles was as Kippei Tachibana in the long-running series The Prince of Tennis in 2001. His career has since spanned over two decades, during which he has built an extensive filmography encompassing a wide variety of characters in anime, video games, and OVAs.

He has taken on numerous supporting roles in popular and long-running franchises. Notably, he voices Pierce Aogami in the A Certain Magical Index series and its spin-offs, and Bickslow in the Fairy Tail series. In the One Piece anime, he has provided voices for multiple characters, including Roddy, Opera, and Cabaletta. He is also the voice of Katsumi Orochi in the Baki the Grappler anime series. Other significant roles include Kunimasa Madarame in the OVA Sex Pistols, Mikihito Higashida in Kämpfer, and Kōjirō Sasahara in Nichijou - My Ordinary Life. In the video game world, he voiced the character K' in The King of Fighters XIV. More recently, he has taken on roles such as Marvelous in Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc and Ranzo Suga in Yakuza Fiancé: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii.

Throughout his career, Kawahara has frequently collaborated with a wide circle of voice actors. He has worked on numerous projects with colleagues such as Tomokazu Sugita, Takehito Koyasu, and Katsuyuki Konishi. In 2007, he formed a performance unit called Tokei Jikake no Buriki Ojisan with fellow voice actor Hiroki Shimowada. He also shares a close friendship with voice actor Junji Majima.

In his personal life, Kawahara announced his marriage to voice actress Kaori Sadohara in December 2017. The two had first met while working together on the series Nichijou in 2011. Known for his enthusiasm for anime and manga, he formed a hobby group with fellow cast members from Hiiro no Kakera to share this interest. His hobbies outside of voice acting include watching films and reading.
