Ron Pardo is a Canadian voice actor and comedian known for his extensive work in animated series, including several roles within the Bakugan franchise. Born on May 15, 1967, in Chatham, Ontario, he was raised in a small farming hamlet named Pardoville after his ancestors. He studied radio and television at Ryerson University in Toronto and later pursued education at the University of Western Ontario, working as a teacher for twelve years before transitioning to a full-time career in comedy and voice acting.

Pardo's voice acting career is marked by his versatility and ability to perform a wide range of characters. He is well-recognized for his roles in numerous animated productions, demonstrating a skill for mimicry that he developed early on. His work spans several major series, including providing the voices of Cap'n Turbot and Mayor Humdinger in the long-running children's show PAW Patrol, a role he has also reprised for feature films. He has also voiced characters in series such as Sidekick, World of Quest, and took over the role of Digit LeBoid in Cyberchase in 2023.

Within the anime and action-oriented animation sphere, Pardo is notably recognized for his extensive contributions to the Bakugan franchise. He has voiced a multitude of characters across several series, often playing multiple roles within the same show. In Bakugan Battle Brawlers, his roles included Hal-G, Juggernoid, and Kato. He continued with the franchise in Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia, where his credits include Nemus and Wilda, among many others. In Bakugan Battle Brawlers: Gundalian Invaders, his voice work included the character Coredom. His involvement with the franchise also extended to Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge. In addition to Bakugan, Pardo has lent his voice to other anime-influenced series, such as Metal Fight Beyblade, where he voiced characters like Phoenix and Ryo.

Throughout his career, Pardo has received recognition for his performances. He was part of the ensemble cast for the sketch comedy series History Bites, which earned him Gemini Award nominations in 2000, 2005, and 2008. In 2010, he was also nominated for an ACTRA Award for Outstanding Performance – Voice for his work in the series Bob & Doug.
