Emi Motoi is a Japanese voice actress and stage actress from Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, born on October 11, 1971. She is affiliated with the talent agency Production Baobab and has been active in the voice acting industry since the early 1990s. Motoi is known for her energetic soprano voice and her versatility in portraying a wide range of characters, from young children to mature women.

Motoi's career began after she graduated from the Katsuta Voice Actor Academy and completed her training as part of the 8th class at the Baobab Academy. Her extensive filmography includes numerous roles in television animation, original video animations, and video games. Among her most recognized anime roles are Himiko Shirogane and Shota Yamada in Chibi Maruko-chan, Naoko Yanagisawa in Cardcaptor Sakura, and Yuko Ohse in Revolutionary Girl Utena. In video games, she is well-known for voicing Arle Nadja in the Puyo Puyo series, Sumire Nozaki in Tokimeki Memorial 2, and Yuko Kouzuki in the Muv-Luv series.

A significant and recurring role in her career is the character Chouun (Zhao Yun) / Shiryū / Sei from the Koihime Musō franchise. She has voiced this character across multiple adaptations and sequels, including the original Koihime Musō, the Shin Koihime Musō television series, and its various OVAs and specials such as Shin Koihime†Musou: Live Revolution.
