Toshihiko Nakajima was a Japanese actor, voice actor, and sound director born on August 12, 1962, in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. He was a graduate of Chuo University and was affiliated with the theatrical troupe Gekidan 21 Seiki Fox at the time of his death. Nakajima passed away on September 8, 2017, at the age of 55.

His acting and voice career began in the late 1980s, with early roles in productions like the Urusei Yatsura film The Moving Finger from 1989. Over the course of his career, he became a familiar presence in numerous anime series, often providing voices for supporting and side characters. Among his most recognized voice roles are Haruhiko Yagi in the Hajime no Ippo (Fighting Spirit) series and Kojiro Murdock in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and its sequel Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. He also had a long-running association with the Detective Conan franchise, voicing the recurring character Tome-san, a forensic investigator, in both the television series and films. His filmography includes a wide range of other popular series such as Cowboy Bebop, where he voiced Carlos, and Paranoia Agent, as Masami Hirukawa. In the Inuyasha series and its films, he took on multiple roles, including the character Hatchi.
