Jamie McGonnigal is an American voice actor born on August 6, 1975, in Weymouth, Massachusetts. His career in voice acting began in 1988 with a role in the anime series Patlabor the Mobile Police. Over the following decades, he became a recognizable voice in English dubs of anime, contributing to numerous television series, OVAs, and films.

McGonnigal is known for a wide range of anime roles. He provided the voice of Kazuto Iizuka in The World of Narue and Omi Tsukiyono, also known as Persia, in both Knight Hunters and Knight Hunters Eternity. His other notable credits include L.A. in El Cazador de la Bruja, Ranmaru Samejima in Kizuna, Kosaku Urano in Demon Fighter Kocho, Tieh in The Weathering Continent, Yomi in Riki-Oh: Tōkatsu Jigoku, and Takeo Takakura in Magic User's Club.

He is particularly well-known among fans of the Pokémon anime for voicing several prominent characters. His roles in the franchise include Trip, the rival trainer from the Unova region in Pokémon: Black and White and Pokémon: Black and White: Rival Destinies, and Barry, another one of Ash's rivals, in the Diamond and Pearl series.
