Mayumi Yoshida is a Japanese voice actress born on August 26, 1982, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. She is affiliated with the talent agency I'm Enterprise. Yoshida is a graduate of the Nippon Narration Engeki Kenkyujo (Japan Narration Acting Institute). In adult video games, she often uses the pen name Misono Moriya.
Yoshida began her voice acting career in the early 2000s, with one of her earliest roles being in the anime Parappa the Rapper in 2001. Throughout the decade, she built a portfolio of supporting roles in various television anime series. Some of her notable early appearances include voicing Elysia Hughes in Fullmetal Alchemist (2003), Chibi-ko in Aquarion (2005), and Joanna in Black Cat (2005). She also voiced Himeji in the Himawari! series in 2006 and its second season in 2007.
The year 2011 was a significant period for Yoshida, during which she landed several main roles in television anime. She voiced Asuka Watarai in We Without Wings - Under the Innocent Sky, a character she had previously voiced in the series' drama CDs and games.
