Adrian Roman Petriw was born on August 5, 1987, and is a Canadian actor based in Vancouver, British Columbia, with a career spanning nearly two decades in television, film, and voice acting. He began working as a professional actor in his adolescence with the support of his family and mentors. His first voice acting role was in the animated film Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow.
Petriw has built an extensive career in animation and anime dubbing, becoming one of Canada's premier voice talents. In the realm of anime, he is known for his work on several long-running and popular series dubbed by Ocean Productions. He voiced Shū Kurenai, also known as Red Eye, in Beyblade Burst and its sequel Beyblade Burst: Evolution. He provided the voice for Sagaru Yamazaki and additional voices in the beloved comedy series Gintama. His other notable anime credits include multiple roles in World Trigger, such as Shuji Miwa, Kazuaki Oji, and Tsukihiko Amou. In Zoids Wild, he voiced two characters: the antagonist Drake and Shade, a member of the Free Team. He also voiced Nova in the English adaptation of Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai. His filmography includes roles in other animated series like Kurozuka, LBX, and NANA.
