Akihiko Ishizumi is a Japanese stage actor and voice actor born on October 25, 1961, in Ehime Prefecture. He is affiliated with the talent agency En Kikaku. Ishizumi graduated from the Faculty of Law and Literature at Ehime University in 1984 before pursuing a career in performance, joining the Engekishūdan En theater institute in 1986 and becoming a company member in 1989.
His voice acting career, which began in the late 1990s, is marked by a wide range of supporting roles in anime television series. He is frequently cast as middle-aged or elderly men, as well as authoritative or villainous characters. One of his early roles was in Turn A Gundam (1999).
