Description

Staffel 1
1The World of Destruction and the Ruins of Memories
The Science Club members find themselves assigned to clean the school pool as punishment. Ania chases a koala and leads the group into an underground cavern beneath the school grounds. The cavern opens into the Rakuroa Ruins,an uncharted location. Tomoharu experiences a vision of an alternate world upon entering the ruins, seeing events and places he does not recognize. The vision disorients him before he can make sense of its meaning. Casta Machina, mechanical guardians, emerge from within the ruins and attack the group. The students have no means to fight back against the attacking machines. Touru arrives at the ruins and engages the Casta Machina to protect the others. His intervention provides the group with a chance to escape the immediate threat. The encounter confirms that new dangers have surfaced following the events of the first season. Tomoharu faces the growing cost of his contract with Misao as using Kurogane continues to shorten her remaining time. The episode concludes with the group realizing that the ruins hold answers about their world, but the path forward remains blocked by hostile forces.
2Episode 2
Tomoharu Natsume and his companions guard Misao Minakami at the school, maintaining watch for agents from the Second World. Kurosaki, a Gold family operative, arrives with his Asura Machina and demands Misao’s surrender. Tomoharu activates his own Asura Machina, and the two engage in combat across the school grounds. During the battle, Kanade Takatsuki’s spirit temporarily overrides Tomoharu’s control, manifesting her own combat abilities. Kurosaki explains his goal: to break the contract binding his demon Shana, whom he considers his sister. The fight stops when Souryu agents arrive, compelling both Asura Machina users to withdraw. Shuri Kurosawa analyzes the encounter, concluding that Tomoharu’s synchronization with Kanade risks eroding his consciousness. Misao criticizes Tomoharu for acting without regard for his own safety and insists on facing her pursuers herself. Tomoharu decides to meet Kurosaki alone, believing a direct conversation might prevent further violence. He departs without informing the others, walking into a trap Kurosaki has already prepared.
3The Freedom to Make an Impaired Choice
Tomoharu,Kanade, Misao, An, and Higuchi spend their summer break at the beach. During a barbecue, Misao notices Tomoharu and Kanade growing closer and questions him about it. When Tomoharu mentions that having a ghost companion complicates pursuing a relationship, Misao takes offense and walks away. Tomoharu follows her to the shoreline and finds her upset. She directly asks if he has something to tell her, referencing his decision to keep her from piloting Kurogane. He remains silent, and Misao realizes Kanade knows his secret while she does not; she leaves in anger. Elsewhere on a nearby island, Shuri and Ania investigate ruins that also draw the interest of Kagakagari, Kristina, Kyomu Satomi, and the First Student Council. Takuma sends Tomoharu and Kanade to the same ruins under the pretense that the location holds magical properties to make people confess their feelings. Inside the cave, they encounter Shuri and Ania, and the group faces an attack from a spear-wielding adversary who seeks to claim the Asura Cryin’ for himself. The opponent overpowers Shuri’s abilities, leaving the group in danger. As the battle concludes, a figure emerges from the smoke in the distance—Tomoharu’s older brother, Naotaka, whose appearance sets up a direct confrontation for the next episode.
4Episode 4
Tomoharu arrives at the Meiyou Academy infirmary where Kanade and Takatsuki have taken shelter. Takatsuki’s condition remains unstable due to the strain of her connection to the Asura Machina. Kanade reveals the Assembly of the First Rite has begun a coordinated operation to seize all remaining Demon Seeds. Tomoharu agrees to guard Takatsuki while Kanade moves to confront the Assembly directly. Misao infiltrates the Assembly’s headquarters alone, aiming to retrieve data on Tomoharu’s original world. Reishirou intercepts her, stating he now serves the Assembly’s new leadership, and subdues her. Assembly operatives attack the school, forcing Tomoharu to activate the Asura Cryin. Takatsuki manifests her Demon Seed abilities to support him, but the effort accelerates her physical deterioration. Kanade reaches the Assembly’s central chamber and faces its新任 director, who explains their goal is to reset dimensional boundaries to prevent a catastrophic convergence. The director offers Kanade a place in the new order if she surrenders Tomoharu. Kanade refuses and attacks, only to find the director wields a replica Asura Machina. The episode ends with Tomoharu and Takatsuki surrounded by converging enemy forces while Kanade falls in combat against the replica Machina.
5The Sad Connection between Magic and Love
6The Truth Dedicated to You
7Moment of Annihilation, Darkness of Extinction
8The Sound of a Prayer
Tomoharu Natsume enters the White Templars’ underground stronghold to retrieve the Asura Machina’s core. Laura, the leader of the White Templars, intercepts him and discloses that Kanade’s death resulted from the incomplete contract she forced upon him. She offers Tomoharu the option to abandon Misao and take a new contract, but he refuses. Instead, he initiates a direct contract with the Asura Machina by binding himself to its core without a mediator. The process subjects him to violent spiritual pressure, causing physical wounds and threatening to consume him. Misao anchors him by channeling her own existence into the binding, completing the contract. Tomoharu gains full control over the Asura Machina and instantly unleashes its power, shattering the White Templars’ containment field. The released energy collapses parts of the facility, forcing Laura to order a retreat. She withdraws, acknowledging that Tomoharu now shares the same burden she carries. Misao collapses from the strain, revealing that the contract has begun eroding her life force. Tomoharu pledges to find a way to preserve her while the First Asura Cryin’ user watches the aftermath from the shadows, preparing to move against them.
9Episode 9
Tomoharu confronts Kanade’s brother, who has merged with the Asura Machina and lost control. The Asura Machina’s rampage collapses multiple buildings in the area. Kanade calls out to her brother, but he shows no recognition. Tomoharu activates his own Asura Machina to draw the enemy’s attention. Shuri calculates the enemy’s attack patterns and relays them to Tomoharu. Reishi and the other contractors arrive and engage the Asura Machina from multiple angles. Kanade’s brother unleashes a wide-area blast that forces everyone to retreat. Tomoharu takes the blast while shielding Kanade, damaging his Asura Machina severely. He loses consciousness and encounters the original Asura spirit in a mental realm. The spirit offers him the machine’s full power in exchange for a binding contract. Tomoharu accepts, and his Asura Machina transforms into a larger, more aggressive form. He returns to the battlefield and counters the enemy’s attacks with enhanced speed and force. A final clash ends with Tomoharu shattering the enemy’s core. The episode closes with Kanade rushing to her brother’s fallen machine, unsure if he survived.
10The Survivers and the Fallen
Tomoharu reunites with Misao inside the research facility that caused the Armageddon. He descends into the dimensional diving chamber where his brother Naotaka maintains the Asura Machina Kurogane. Among the physical bodies of soulless burial dolls,Tomoharu spots Kanade from the first world. Naotaka explains a method to save the first world without relying on Hagane. The plan carries lethal risks for both Tomoharu and Misao. Tomoharu accepts the danger and proceeds with the operation inside the chamber. The operation succeeds in achieving its immediate objective. Takatsuki suffers an injury during the events. Tomoharu cannot prevent Takatsuki from getting hurt. The successful plan creates a new set of immediate complications for the group.
11Episode 11
Tomoharu Natsume and Misao Minakami descend into the lowest level of the demon research facility where the Asura sleeps. Kanade Takatsuki positions herself between Tomoharu and the approaching forces led by Shuri Kurasawa. Kurasawa explains his plan to trigger the Asura's full activation, which will collapse the current universe and birth a new world without demon contractors. Tomoharu rejects the plan because it requires Misao, the demon bound to him, to serve as the central sacrifice. The Asura begins drawing demonic energy from all nearby contractors, including Misao. Tomoharu fully releases his contract, transforming into the Crimson Asura to counter the absorption. Misao's form flickers as her existence as a demon becomes unstable. Kanade summons her own demon, Touka, to create a barrier that temporarily shields Misao from the Asura's pull. Kurasawa integrates himself into the Asura's core, gaining control of its output. Tomoharu strikes the core directly, shattering Kurasawa's connection but leaving the Asura without a controller. The Asura releases an uncontrolled wave of energy that tears through the facility's structural supports. The episode closes with Tomoharu holding Misao as the ceiling collapses around them.
12The Sound of the Asura Crying
Tomoharu confronts the First Asura Cryin inside the collapsing alternate world. Kanade’s consciousness, bound to the First Asura Cryin, urges him to destroy her to save both worlds. Tomoharu refuses and instead activates his own Asura Cryin to merge with the First Asura Cryin, taking all its destruction into himself. Takatsuki, separated from Tomoharu during the dimensional collapse, uses her contract with the Demon to reopen a path to him. She offers her remaining life force to reinforce Tomoharu’s will, allowing him to absorb the First Asura Cryin without losing his identity. The fusion halts the annihilation of both the demon world and the human world. Misao and the other contractors stabilize the barriers with their demons, anchoring the worlds’ separation. Tomoharu emerges from the fusion with Kanade’s spirit now resting inside him, no longer bound to the First Asura Cryin. Takatsuki survives the expenditure of her life force because Tomoharu’s absorption rewrites the terms of her contract. In the aftermath, Tomoharu returns to a restored everyday life with Takatsuki, while Kanade’s presence remains with him in a non-physical form. The final scene shows the three characters together in the school, with the demon realm’s continued existence confirmed but left under fragile watch.
13Episode 13
Tomoharu confronts Kanade in the collapsing dimension, where she reveals that her existence as a Ghost is tied to the Asura Machina’s continuous loop. Kanade transfers the remaining power of the First Asura to Tomoharu, allowing him to access the core of the closed world. Misao, piloting the Black Asura, breaks through the dimensional barriers to reach Tomoharu, but the strain causes her life force to drain rapidly. Hagane and the other Machina engage the mass-produced Asura units deployed by the Science Club, buying Tomoharu and Misao the time to approach the central seal. Tomoharu uses the combined energy from both Asura Machina to force the seal open, destabilizing the pocket reality that traps Kanade and the original Misao. As the dimension fractures, Kanade chooses to remain behind, using her remaining power to anchor the collapse so the others can escape. Tomoharu and Misao emerge in the real world, but Misao’s body begins to dissolve, having exhausted its ability to sustain her. Hagane transfers his core to Misao, sacrificing his autonomous existence to stabilize her life force. The Science Club retreats, acknowledging that the balance between worlds has been permanently altered. With Hagane gone and the Asura Machina dormant, Tomoharu resolves to find a way to fully restore Misao’s existence. Takatsuki and the others set out to track remnants of the Science Club’s research, seeking a method to sever the remaining ties between the worlds without causing another collapse.
