Sherry Lynn
Description
Sherry Lynn is an American voice actress with a prolific career spanning over five decades, beginning in 1972. Born in Tacoma, Washington, she has provided voices for a vast array of characters in anime, Western animated television series, and video games, becoming a familiar presence in English dubs and animated features. In addition to her on-screen work, Lynn is a co-founder and co-artistic director of the Children's Theatre Group of Southern California.
Lynn's work in anime is extensive and includes several iconic roles. She is perhaps best known as the voice of Sasami Masaki Jurai in the long-running Tenchi Muyo! franchise, a role she has reprised across various series and OVAs, including Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki and Ai Tenchi Muyo!. In the Ghost in the Shell universe, she voiced the beloved and philosophical Tachikoma tanks in Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG, and the Solid State Society film, as well as Togusa's daughter. Her other notable anime credits include the ethereal Cheza in Wolf's Rain, the child-like Hinaichigo in Rozen Maiden, Sakura Matou in Fate/stay night, and Yuki Kano in Psycho Diver: Soul Siren. She also voiced the character Mina in the 2006 fantasy film Brave Story.

She is the voice of the Mom in the original Toy Story, and has contributed to nearly every Pixar release since, including A Bug's Life, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Cars, WALL-E, Up, and Inside Out, where she voiced Mother's Joy. She also voiced Adella, one of Ariel's sisters, in Disney's The Little Mermaid.
