Rui De Sá

Rui de Sá is a Portuguese actor known for his extensive work in voice dubbing, particularly for anime and animated series aimed at Portuguese audiences. He was born on November 11, 1960, in Portugal. His voice is recognized by many for contributing to the Portuguese-language versions of popular shows and films since the 1990s.
De Sá has been involved in several major anime and animation projects. He provided the voice for the character Butch in the European Portuguese dub of the Pokémon anime, specifically in the episode The Breeding Center Secret. He is also the voice behind the character Paragus, the father of Broly, in the 2018 film Dragon Ball Super: Broly. In the Dragon Ball franchise, he additionally took on the role of the narrator for the Dragon Ball Super series and voiced a minor character known as the Singer, who performs the inter-universe anthem. His work also extends to Studio Ghibli films, as he voiced the character known as the Witch of the Waste in the Portuguese version of Howl's Moving Castle.
Beyond these roles, de Sá has a broad portfolio in dubbing that has left a mark on Portuguese popular culture.
