Camilla Debry

Description
Camilla Debry is an American voice actor known for her work in English dubs of anime series, primarily during the late 2000s. She was born Camille LaBry in Austin, Texas, and is based in Los Angeles, California. She is also credited under her birth name, Camille LaBry West, for some roles, such as her performance as Yuko Atoda in the first season of Ah My Buddha.

Debry's career in anime voice acting includes several notable supporting roles in series licensed for North American release by Media Blasters. She is credited as the voice of Yuko Atoda in the anime series Ah My Buddha and its second season, Ah My Buddha: Katsu. This character is one of the young trainee nuns at the Saienji Temple. In the English adaptation of Ah My Buddha, the role of Yuko Atoda was shared, with Debry providing the voice for the first several episodes and Tara Platt taking over for the remainder of the season.

She also voiced the character Akane Asahina in the 2008 supernatural comedy series Kanokon: The Girl Who Cried Fox. Akane is the bespectacled class representative of the protagonist's class, known for her strong sense of discipline. In the romantic comedy-drama series Kashimashi: Girl Meets Girl, Debry provided the voice for Ayuki Mari. These roles were produced during a period of active English dubbing for the North American market by studios like Media Blasters.

Beyond anime, Debry's voice acting portfolio includes a variety of roles in other media, particularly live-action dubbing and video games. Her video game credits include Sister Svalna in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King and Diane in Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War. She also contributed voice-over work for English adaptations of several Japanese live-action films, such as Tokyo Gore Police, Crows Zero, and One Missed Call 3: Final. Her work in the live-action film Devilman as the character Silene is also noted.

In addition to her performance work, Debry has been involved in production. She is a co-founder, writer, and producer for a production company called United Film House. Her collaborations in the anime industry often placed her alongside a recurring group of voice actors, including Mona Marshall, Bryce Papenbrook, Stephanie Sheh, and Tara Platt, many of whom worked on the same Media Blasters dubs under the direction of voice director Ruben Arvizu.
