Arthur Pestel is a French actor born on October 15, 1987, who is primarily known for his extensive work in the dubbing of Japanese animated series and films into French. He entered the world of dubbing at a young age, following in the footsteps of his brother and sister, who are also in the profession.

His most iconic and acclaimed role is providing the French voice of Edward Elric in the Fullmetal Alchemist franchise. He voiced the character in the original 2003 anime series, the 2009 series Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and all related animated and live-action films. This performance earned him the Anime Grand Prix for Best Voice Actor, voted on by readers of the French magazine AnimeLand, for five consecutive years between 2005 and 2009.

In addition to this signature role, Pestel has voiced a wide array of characters in numerous popular anime. He is the French voice of Ri Shin in the long-running historical series Kingdom. He also plays Kazuya Kinoshita in the romantic comedy Rent-A-Girlfriend and Itsuhito Sakaki in Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!. His other notable anime credits include Leonardo Watch in Blood Blockade Battlefront, Akira Tendo in Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead, Ryusei Shido in BLUELOCK, and Akihiko Nirei in Wind Breaker, as well as roles in series like Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Junji Ito Maniac, and Record of Ragnarok. He also voiced Hanji Urabe in the 2018 Captain Tsubasa series.

Beyond animation, Pestel's voice work extends to live-action dubbing for film and video games. He is the French voice of Snotlout Jorgenson in the How to Train Your Dragon film franchise and voiced a young Gideon Grey in Zootopia. His video game credits include providing additional voices for Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and voicing characters in games like Just Cause 4.
