Ward Perry

Ward Perry is a Canadian voice actor and ADR script writer, born on March 20, 1970, in British Columbia, Canada. He was active in the voiceover industry from approximately 1992 until his retirement in 2009. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, his career was centered on providing English dubs for numerous anime series at the Ocean Group.

Perry is perhaps best known for his work in several high-profile anime franchises. He is frequently recognized for his roles within the Dragon Ball Z franchise, where he provided voices for characters such as the villain Dr. Wheelo, Turles, Kami, and King Yemma in the Ocean Group dubs. Another significant role was Rowen of the Strata (also known as Rowen Hashiba) in the series Ronin Warriors, a character he voiced across multiple titles including Ronin Warriors: Gaiden and Ronin Warriors: Message. He also voiced the antagonist Geese Howard in the Fatal Fury animated adaptations.

His extensive voice acting credits encompass a wide range of other series. He played multiple roles in the Gundam franchise, including Ryu Jose in the original Mobile Suit Gundam, Dr. J in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, and Kojiro Murdoch in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and its sequel, Gundam SEED Destiny. In the Inuyasha franchise, his roles included the sword So'unga in the third film and various additional characters. His other notable credits include Detective Ozaki in the series Sanctuary, Huitzil in Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge, Scavenger in Transformers: Armada, Landmine in Transformers: Energon, and Hitoshi Demegawa in Death Note.
