Eriko Nakamura is a Japanese voice actress, singer, narrator, and radio personality with over twenty-five years of experience in the entertainment industry. She was born on November 19, 1981, in Kanagawa Prefecture. After training at the Japan Narration Acting Institute, she became affiliated with the talent agency ARTSVISION. Nakamura passed her first audition at the age of nineteen, a pivotal moment that launched her career.

Nakamura is most widely recognized for her long-standing role as Haruka Amami, the main heroine of the multifaceted THE iDOLM@STER franchise, a character she has voiced since the original 2005 game. Her portrayal of Haruka Amami has extended across numerous anime series, including THE iDOLM@STER, THE iDOLM@STER Million Live!, PUCHIM@S, and animated films like THE IDOLM@STER MOVIE: Kagayaki no Mukōgawa e!. Her work on this franchise alone has resulted in her recording on hundreds of CD albums, singles, and drama CDs, as well as performing in live concerts at prestigious venues.

Beyond her signature role, Nakamura has built a diverse portfolio of anime voice roles. She voices the character Popuko in the viral anime Pop Team Epic. She plays Belgium in the Hetalia series, including Hetalia World Stars and Hetalia World Series, and Fuurouta in Concrete Revolutio: The Last Song. Her other notable television anime roles include Chisato Sumiyoshi in Love, Election and Chocolate, Ui Nakatsugawa in A Bridge to the Starry Skies, Haruka Katō in Oniichan no Koto Nanka Zenzen Suki Janain Dakara ne—!!, Mikage Kiryū in the Space Battleship Yamato 2199 series, Momoko Kakehashi in Cinderella Nine, and Enjutsu (Yuan Shu) in the Shin Koihime Musō series.

In addition to anime, Nakamura has lent her voice to a significant number of video games. These include her recurring role as Haruka Amami in numerous iDOLM@STER titles, Chisato Sumiyoshi in the game adaptation of Love, Election and Chocolate, Mikage Kiryū in Uchū Senkan Yamato 2199: Hoshi-Meguru Hakobune, and Beatrice "Lilium" Anastasi in Freedom Wars and its remastered version.

Nakamura has also been recognized with several industry awards. In 2012, she won the Female Voice Actor Award at the second Newtype Anime Awards. She won the same award again at the fourth Newtype Anime Awards in 2014, a year in which her character Haruka Amami also won the Female Character Award for her role in THE IDOLM@STER MOVIE: Kagayaki no Mukōgawa e!. In October 2014, she was appointed as an official anime ambassador for Tokushima City.

Nakamura has a recurring collaboration with fellow voice actress Asami Imai. They have co-starred together, most notably in an episode of Pop Team Epic where Nakamura played Popuko and Imai played Pipimi. They also co-host a web radio show titled Bread BanqueT, which is available on YouTube and NicoNico Douga. Her filmography shows frequent collaborations with other voice actors such as Tsubasa Yonaga, Ayaka Ohashi, and Reina Ueda across various projects. Beyond acting, Nakamura is also known for her work as a narrator and has recently begun DJing.
