Berger's notable achievements in voice acting span far beyond his anime work. He received an Annie Award nomination in 1994 for his voice acting in the animated series Duckman. His iconic roles in American animation include Grimlock in the original Transformers series, Odie in numerous Garfield television specials and shows, and Cornfed in Duckman. He has also had a significant presence in video games, lending his voice to characters such as Jecht in Final Fantasy X, Ripto in the Spyro the Dragon series, and The Pain in Metal Gear Solid 3.
