Rita Almeida is a Brazilian voice actor born on September 23, 1981, in São Paulo, Brazil. She began her career in dubbing in 1993. Over the years, she has been associated with several major dubbing studios, including Centauro, where she started in 1997, Tempo Filmes beginning in 1999, and Universal Studios starting in 2004. Her role in the industry also expanded to include casting coordination for Cartoon Network in 1998 and later work for Discovery Kids around 2009.
Almeida has provided the Brazilian Portuguese voice for a wide range of characters in anime and animated series. One of her notable roles is Philomena Dusk in the series Bakugan Battle Planet. She also voiced the character Chako in the anime Mujin Wakusei Survive.
