Friederike Sipp

Friederike Sipp is a German actress and voice actress known for her work in film, television, and theater, as well as for providing the German voice for characters in anime series and films.

Born in Rosenheim in 1981, Sipp trained at the International School for Acting (ISSA) and has been active as a screen actress since the early 2000s. She became known to a wider German audience for her role as Jana Brandner in the ARD soap opera Verbotene Liebe, a role she played from 2002 to 2005, for which the ensemble received the Golden Rose of Lucerne. In addition to her on-screen work, she has performed in numerous theater productions across Germany and is also a singer.

Since approximately 2015, Sipp has been active in voice acting, lending her voice to characters in live-action films and TV series. Her work in anime dubbing includes the role of Liz in the film Liz and the Blue Bird (Liz und ein Blauer Vogel). She also voiced Heine in the German version of the anime series Combatants Will Be Dispatched! and is known for her role as Kana Kojima in Why the Hell are You Here, Teacher!?. Her other notable anime voice work includes the role of Quin in Death Parade and Claire Kagenō in The Eminence in Shadow.
