Shugo Nakamura is a Japanese voice actor and singer born in Okinawa Prefecture. He is affiliated with the talent management agency Across Entertainment and the music label Lantis.

Nakamura was born on October 14, 1988, and began his entertainment career after moving to Tokyo following high school graduation. He developed an interest in music during his junior high years and performed as a vocalist and guitarist in a local band. He later decided to pursue acting after watching a stage performance and subsequently trained at the R&A Voice Actors Academy. His professional voice acting career has been active since approximately 2015. In recognition of his work, Nakamura received the Best New Actor Award at the 13th Seiyu Awards in 2019.

He is best known for his role as Teru Tendo in The Idolmaster SideM franchise, a role he was cast in starting in 2015. The franchise includes the original game, the 2017 anime television adaptation, and the spinoff series Wakeatte Mini!. His other notable lead roles include Issei Kuga in TsukiPro the Animation and Tomoki Takashima in Outburst Dreamer Boys.

Nakamura has a wide range of major anime and film roles. In the sports genre, he voices Gin Gagamaru in Blue Lock and its subsequent seasons and film, and he played Ryota Miyagi in the theatrical film The First Slam Dunk. His other significant television anime roles include Zin in Technoroid Overmind, Kento Takanashi in Eternal Boys, Katori in The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague, Spica Diafell in Game World Reincarnation, Yūichi Shidō in OPUS.COLORs, and Arnschent Adler in The Gorilla God's Go-To Girl. He also provides the voice for Jade in The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse. In the tokusatsu genre, Nakamura voices the character Ultraman Regulos in various Ultraman productions.

His career also includes roles in multimedia projects, voicing Shidou Kirisaki in MILGRAM and Sanah in Fragaria Memories, as well as video game roles such as Chatannakiri in Touken Ranbu. He is also credited with the role of Ryuki in the game Pokémon Masters.
