Noah Umholtz
Description
Noah Umholtz is an American voice actor known for his work on English-language dubs of anime series, often associated with productions recorded in Calgary, Alberta, Canada where he is based. He has contributed to several long-running and classic franchises, primarily as a voice actor for the Blue Water dubbing studio, which produced alternate English versions of shows for international markets. Among his most recognized roles is the character Bask Om, the ruthless field commander of the Titans, in the English version of the seminal mecha series Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. He also voiced Commander Red, the leader of the Red Ribbon Army, in the Blue Water dub of the original Dragon Ball series. In the sequel series Dragon Ball GT, Umholtz provided the voice for Ii Shenron, also known as Yi Xing Long and Syn Shenron, one of the final antagonists in the franchise. His other anime voice roles include Andrew Graham in Mobile Fighter G Gundam, Kukai in Flame of Recca, Yagyu Kita Retssai in Jubei-Chan 2: The Counterattack of Siberia Yagyu, Reeah in Deltora Quest, Mikay Angusson in Banner of the Stars II, and Zaliche in Viper's Creed. Beyond television anime, Umholtz has also performed voice work for video games, including the role of Armored Armadillo in an English version.
