Julia Ziffer is a German voice actress born in 1975. She has built a extensive career lending her voice to numerous characters in anime series and films for the German-speaking market, as well as providing German dubs for live-action productions and voice work for video games and audio plays.
Her body of anime work is varied, featuring several prominent and long-running series. She voiced the hyperactive Tomo Takino in the comedy series Azumanga Daioh and its accompanying short film. In the fantasy film The Weathering Continent, she took on the role of Baruni Rifas. She provided the voice for Akiko Shimizu, a supporting character in the Studio Ghibli television film Ocean Waves. Her roles also include Kei Amemiya in the dark political thriller Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade, and Yoko in the OVA series Beyond.
