Description
Rin Takanashi, a camping and tabletop role-playing game enthusiast in her thirties who works as a caregiver, is abruptly summoned to a fantasy kingdom as a saint. She arrives alongside a beautiful high school girl, but the prince immediately deems Rin’s unique skills—Motor House, which allows her to summon a camper van, and Survival—to be worthless garbage. He exiles her on the spot.
Left to fend for herself in an unfamiliar world, Rin soon discovers that her supposedly useless abilities are actually highly effective in specific environments. Rather than dwelling on her rejection, she decides to embrace her independence and continue her favorite pastimes: solo camping and cooking. Using her powers, she summons her dream camper van and sets off on a personal food-centric road trip across the fantasy realm.
Not long after her journey begins, Rin encounters Vil, a shrewd dragul demon who leads an adventuring party known as the Gluttony Table. He becomes the first person she meets in this world who does not want to exile her, and she shows her gratitude by treating him to a home-cooked meal. As she travels, Rin picks up additional companions, including Senon, a meat-loving elf who handles healing and magical attacks; Aria, a gluttonous spider-person with a curvy figure; Aria’s husband Ed, a magitech alchemist who is devoted to his wife; and a feathered creature named Sesame Miso that Rin has tamed. The story follows a relaxed, slice-of-life pattern where Rin focuses on cooking and managing her camper van while her companions undertake adventuring tasks, later reuniting to feast on the meals she has prepared using the ingredients they have gathered. The anime adaptation is produced by EMT Squared and directed by Atsushi Nigorikawa, with series composition by Takashi Aoshima.
