Shouichi Tsugami encounters his old friend and former caretaker, Dr. Higashi Kunieda, who looked after him during his hospitalization for amnesia. As they reconnect after a year apart, Shouichi senses the presence of an Unknown and rushes off to fight. He transforms into Agito Burning Form, but after the creature flees, Shouichi loses control of his powers and violently attacks Dr. Kunieda, who had followed him and witnessed the transformation. The doctor manages to calm Shouichi down, but the young man becomes terrified of his own失控 abilities and runs away.

Dr. Kunieda catches up to Shouichi and shares a painful truth: his own son committed suicide six months earlier because he could not handle his slow, painful transformation into Agito. The doctor urges Shouichi not to lose hope, assuring him that eventually the sky will clear. When Shouichi senses the Unknown again, he returns to battle with renewed confidence. All three Riders—Agito, G3, and Gills—join forces against the powerful Beetle Lord, but even their combined strength proves insufficient to defeat it. As Agito Burning Form looks upward, he sees a clear blue sky, harnesses the power of the sun, and transcends into Agito Shining Form, which single-handedly destroys the Beetle Lord. The special concludes with a mysterious girl infiltrating the G-trailer and stalking the G4 project, setting up events that continue in the film Kamen Rider Agito: Project G4. This television special, which aired between episodes 35 and 36 of the series, also marks the first appearances of G3 Mild and Agito Shining Form.
