Momose has always longed for a peaceful high school life, believing that transferring to a school with no delinquents will finally give her the fresh start she deserves. Her plan is simple: blend in, join a harmless club, and steer clear of chaos. However, this hope is immediately challenged when she discovers the secret of her classmate, Dan Ichikura.

On the surface, Ichikura is the ideal honors student: quiet, bespectacled, and polite. Unbeknownst to everyone else, he is a former yankee who was infamous for being undefeated in fights during middle school. He has since abandoned his violent past in favor of a peaceful reputation, though remnants of his aggressive nature occasionally slip out. The story unfolds as Momose and Ichikura become the only two members of the Helping Club.
