Description
"Galactic Whirlwind Sasuraiger" is a 1983 mecha anime series set in a distant future where humanity has expanded into space. The story revolves around the conflict between the Earth Federation and the tyrannical Zoru Empire, which seeks to dominate the galaxy. The protagonist, Jiro Yamato, is a skilled pilot and the son of a renowned scientist. After his father is killed by the Zoru Empire, Jiro inherits the advanced mecha known as the Sasuraiger, a powerful spacecraft capable of transforming into a humanoid robot.
