Lucrézia Noin is a skilled mobile suit pilot and former officer of the Organization of the Zodiac, known as OZ. She is of Italian aristocratic descent and was a top graduate of the Lake Victoria military academy, where she graduated second only to Zechs Merquise. After graduation, she became an instructor at the academy, training new Specials recruits in mobile suit combat. Despite her formidable abilities as a pilot, Noin dislikes war and often uses her influence to seek peaceful resolutions when possible. She harbors a deep, unwavering love for Zechs, having known him since their academy days and supporting him through many trials. This loyalty leads her to leave OZ at his request to protect his younger sister, Relena Peacecraft. Noin becomes Relena’s personal guardian and a key figure in the reestablishment of the Sanc Kingdom, secretly organizing a defense force to protect the pacifist nation. When Zechs eventually becomes the leader of the White Fang, Noin struggles with her feelings but ultimately chooses to stand by him, believing in his true intentions. After the Eve War, she joins the Earth Sphere Unified Nation’s intelligence agency, the Preventers, under the code name Fire. Throughout the events of Endless Waltz, Noin remains steadfast, believing Zechs is still alive even after his presumed death. She works alongside Sally Po to uncover the Mariemaia rebellion and later reunites with Zechs, fighting together to minimize casualties. Following the rebellion’s end, she accompanies Zechs to Mars to participate in terraforming. Noin is characterized as calm, strong-minded, and deeply loyal, balancing her warrior’s discipline with a compassionate, maternal nature. She is an exceptionally capable pilot, most notably flying a white OZ-12SMS Taurus, and is respected even by the Gundam pilots for her skill and conviction.
