Description
Ririka Kenzaki is a cheerful, childlike, and slow-paced first-year student at Kitauji High School who joins the concert band as an oboist. She possesses light-auburn hair, freckles, and yellow eyes, typically wearing a light gray cardigan over her uniform and securing her bangs with black star-shaped clips. Despite occasional shyness, she maintains a friendly demeanor. Ririka exhibits air-headed tendencies yet deliberately leverages her bubbly nature to deflect improper behavior and strategically calculates her actions when attempting to covertly approach others. Her unique quirks include distributing convenience store eggs.
She revitalizes the double reeds section alongside fellow first-years Eru Kabutodani and Suruga Koteyama. Ririka persistently tries to befriend the reserved senior oboist Mizore Yoroizuka, facing initial resistance that leads her to seek advice from Mizore’s friend Nozomi Kasaki. Gradually, Mizore warms to her, teaching Ririka oboe techniques, reed-making, and engaging in duet practices. Their relationship deepens when Mizore invites Ririka to a pool outing during obon break, surprising Nozomi.
