Description
Naruto Uzumaki was born on October 10 to Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage of Konohagakure, and Kushina Uzumaki, the jinchūriki of the Nine-Tailed Fox. During Kushina's childbirth, a masked man attacked, releasing the Nine-Tails and triggering its rampage. To protect the village, Minato sealed half the Nine-Tails' chakra within newborn Naruto before dying with Kushina. Orphaned and unaware of his parents, Naruto grew up shunned by villagers who resented him for containing the beast that caused devastation. The Third Hokage provided financial support but concealed Naruto's lineage, resulting in widespread ostracism. This isolation led Naruto to seek acknowledgment through pranks, developing a boisterous, persistent personality marked by the verbal tic "dattebayo".

At the Ninja Academy, Naruto formed a bond with his teacher Iruka Umino, who acted as a surrogate older brother. He met Hinata Hyūga while defending her from bullies, unknowingly inspiring her lifelong affection. Naruto graduated at age 12 as a genin, joining Team 7 under Kakashi Hatake, where he fostered rivalries and friendships, particularly with Sasuke Uchiha. Initially unskilled, Naruto mastered advanced techniques like the Shadow Clone Jutsu and the Rasengan, a chakra sphere created by his father. His status as the Nine-Tails' jinchūriki granted immense chakra reserves and regenerative abilities, though he initially struggled to control the fox's power, which manifested as increased strength, speed, and feral transformations during distress.

Naruto participated in Konohagakure's Chūnin Exams; his determination during the written test's tenth question inspired many participants to advance. In the Forest of Death, he confronted Orochimaru and later fought Neji Hyūga in the preliminaries, challenging Neji's fatalistic worldview. After Sasuke defected, Naruto trained under Jiraiya for two-and-a-half years, returning more capable. He later mastered Sage Mode, enhancing his sensory abilities and combat prowess. During the Pain invasion, Naruto defeated Akatsuki leader Nagato, saving Konoha and earning recognition as a hero. He reconciled with the Nine-Tails, learning its name was Kurama and gaining full access to its chakra. In the Fourth Shinobi World War, he played a pivotal role in defeating Kaguya Ōtsutsuki and resolved his conflict with Sasuke in a final battle, cementing their bond.

In the OVA "Chūnin Exam on Fire! Naruto vs. Konohamaru!", Naruto, now Hokage, participates in a Sunagakure-hosted Chūnin Exam alongside Konohamaru Sarutobi, his former student. During their preliminary match, they bicker and miss critical rules. Konohamaru employs techniques like the Big Ball Rasengan and Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique, landing a punch. Naruto retaliates by activating Sage Mode, violating the exam's prohibition on senjutsu, resulting in his disqualification. Konohamaru wins by default, later achieving chūnin rank and declaring Naruto his subordinate. Colleagues like Kakashi and Gaara reassure Naruto that promotion to chūnin is inconsequential, as he had long surpassed his peers.

As an adult, Naruto married Hinata Hyūga and had two children, Boruto and Himawari. He fulfilled his dream of becoming the Seventh Hokage, balancing leadership with his characteristic exuberance. His interactions with Boruto reflect his understanding of paternal influence, having experienced childhood neglect. Naruto's legacy includes mentoring Konohamaru to jōnin rank and fostering worldwide respect as a symbol of perseverance and reconciliation.
