Description
Delia Ketchum, Ash Ketchum's mother, resides in Pallet Town, Kanto, where she operates the town's sole restaurant, Pallet House, inherited from her mother. Though she aspired to be a Pokémon Trainer and model in her youth, she set aside those dreams to manage the family business following Ash's birth when she was approximately 18 or 19 years old.
A kind, caring, and supportive parent, Delia maintains a loving relationship with Ash despite his frequent travels. She expresses pride in his accomplishments and trusts his friends to watch over him, though her actions occasionally embarrass him.
