Denise Reis is a highly accomplished Brazilian voice actress, recognized for her extensive work in dubbing anime and animated series for the Brazilian Portuguese market. With a career spanning from 1999 to the present, she has become a prominent and beloved figure in the world of Brazilian dubbing.

Born Denise de Cássia Reis on October 18, 1963, in São Paulo, she works not only as a voice actress but also as a dubbing director. Her work in direction includes early episodes of popular series such as Naruto, Digimon Frontier, and Mobile Suit Gundam Wing.

Reis is perhaps best known for her iconic portrayal of two central characters in classic anime. She is the voice of Kaoru Kamiya in Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X), a role that won her the Oscar da Dublagem for Best Lead Voice Actress in 2003. Equally significant is her long-standing role as Rei Hino, also known as Sailor Mars, in the various iterations of the Sailor Moon franchise. She has voiced the character from Sailor Moon R to Sailor Moon SuperS, and more recently in the films Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal and Sailor Moon Crystal.

Her versatility is demonstrated by the wide range of characters she has portrayed. In the Lupin the Third franchise, she voices the cunning femme fatale Fujiko Mine, lending her voice to the character in several productions including Part 5, Part 6, and classic films like The Castle of Cagliostro. In the fantasy series Bastard!!, she takes on the role of the powerful deity Anthrasax.

Reis has also had notable recurring roles in other major franchises. She has voiced multiple characters in the Pokémon universe, including Delia Ketchum in Pokémon: Black and White, Johana (Dawn's mother) and the Gym Leader Fantina in Pocket Monsters: Diamond & Pearl, as well as Annie in the film Pokémon Heroes. Her other prominent roles include Baron Ashura (the female half of the dual-gendered antagonist) in Mazinger Z, the cunning Hone-Onna in the Hell Girl series, Rally Vincent in Gunsmith Cats, Esmeraude in Magic Knight Rayearth, and Bloodberry in the Saber Marionette J series. She has also contributed to popular titles like Inuyasha, One Piece, Dragon Ball, and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

Her involvement with long-running magical girl franchises extends beyond Sailor Moon, with significant roles such as Princesa Celestia in My Little Pony: A Amizade é Mágica and Zoe Trent in Littlest Pet Shop.
