A 54 year old hikikomori and psychology otaku named Mitamito Yoneda is suddenly forced to become self reliant and reinvent himself as a video streamer. His survival depends entirely on increasing his number of channel subscribers. To manage the pressure of being on camera, he creates two avatar personas to speak for him: one named Furoito Genson, an alter ego he is reluctant to show, and another helpful assistant named Kokoro, who promptly refuses his request for help. The story follows Yoneda as he uses his deep, obsessive knowledge of psychological concepts like schema, hostile attribution bias, and introspective fantasy to navigate human relationships and save himself from isolation. The manga is created by Hideo Iura, known for works such as The Lawyer of Kuzu and Detective Yugami.
