The main cast from the original series appears in adorable chibi form, with each character reduced to their most hilarious traits. Noelle remains royalty conscious but comically unable to control her outbursts toward Asta, Yami is perpetually lounging while offering blunt wisdom, and the eccentric members of the Black Bulls squad each contribute to the episodic chaos. Despite the art style shift and comedic tone, the core dynamic of Asta and Yuno as friendly rivals pursuing the same lofty goal remains intact.
