Manga
Description
A genius Shiba Inu named Shiba possesses intelligence so vast that he is capable of constructing large-scale robots. Living in seclusion in a remote forest, he is separated from his beloved owner, a human boy named Sota. To fill the void left by the boy's absence, Shiba uses his extraordinary abilities to build a replacement a highly advanced robot created in Sota's exact likeness. However, despite his perfect appearance, the newly activated boy robot is far from perfect; he is clumsy, prone to malfunction, and his behavior is deeply odd.

The story follows the unlikely pair as they navigate their daily life together in the forest. The comedy and heart of the narrative stem from the stark contrast between the two main characters. The dog Shiba is a genius capable of incredible engineering feats yet he is still a dog with canine instincts and a deep, unwavering love for his original owner. The robot, on the other hand, was built as a substitute but his defective personality creates a chaotic yet endearing presence. The narrative is described as a heartwarming dog comedy where laughter and a sense of wistfulness intersect as this mismatched duo of a genius dog and a clumsy robot fumble through their unusual existence.

The primary setting is the secluded forest home where Shiba lives alone. The central conflict is born from Shiba's loneliness and his attempt to replicate human connection, which results in a creation that is both a success and a hilarious failure. Notable narrative arcs depicted in individual chapters focus on the robot's comedic struggles with basic tasks, his bizarre interactions with the natural environment, and the moments of genuine, quiet connection that form between the dog and his imperfect invention. The creator, Shibaso, is known for blending comedic gag manga with occasional serious elements, suggesting that while the story is primarily funny, it also explores themes of loss, memory, and the nature of love as a driving force for creation. The human boy Sota, the original model for the robot, remains an off-screen but pivotal figure whose absence motivates the entire plot, with hints that he may eventually reappear and complicate the dynamic.
