Description
Kamata Sanpei is a brilliant but slightly eccentric boy whose life takes an unexpected turn during a mobile classroom session. He accidentally discovers a manga notebook left on a desk and, after reading it, writes the words It was interesting before returning it to its original place. The next day, the notebook's owner, Arakawa Misaki, confronts him. Despite their outwardly opposite lifestyles, the two quickly discover they share a deep and secret passion for drawing manga. This shared interest leads them to impulsively exchange their own self-made manga, beginning an unlikely and transformative friendship. As they grow closer, Misaki reveals the existence of a specialized vocational school dedicated entirely to the art of manga creation, opening up a new world of possibility for Sanpei.
The story is a youth comedy focused on growth and creative ambition. The central characters are Kamata Sanpei, whose brilliance is matched only by his peculiarities, and Arakawa Misaki, whose life is a stark contrast to his yet who recognizes a kindred artistic spirit in him. Their relationship develops through the mutual respect and vulnerability of sharing their creative work. The setting revolves around their school life and, crucially, the little-known manga vocational school that Misaki introduces. A notable narrative arc begins with the accidental discovery of the notebook, leading to the confrontation and the surprising bond that forms between the two protagonists. This foundation gives way to a larger arc centered on their decision to pursue professional training and the challenges of the vocational school environment.
