After a company drinking party, young employee Haruhiko Sanezawa is suddenly invited to a hotel by his boss, Yuko Monou. Known at the office as the feared and strict Empress, Yuko surprises Haruhiko by shyly asking him for something far removed from their professional relationship: a purely physical arrangement to help her have a child. She explains that due to her age and career focus, she wants a child without the complications of a romantic relationship.

Haruhiko is a dedicated but somewhat reserved young worker who respects his capable boss despite her severity. Yuko is a beautiful, single career woman in her early thirties. In the office, she is cool and demanding, but in private she reveals a vulnerable and bashful side she shows only to Haruhiko. The story follows this secret, contract-based relationship as they struggle to maintain a normal boss-subordinate dynamic at work while meeting in secret afterward.
