Description
The manga follows the daily adventures of the carefree and spontaneous young lady Kyōka and her perpetually grumbling butler, Okuda. Originating as a popular comedy duo sketch on the Japanese TV variety show Ariyoshi no Kabe, the story was adapted into a manga by the performers themselves, Kyonchi Kaneko and Shuji Okuda, with publication beginning in July 2025.
The central conflict and comedy stem from Kyōka’s willful nature, as she constantly ignores Okuda’s stern warnings and wanders off on her own, much to his exasperation. In a typical narrative arc, Okuda is forced to trail his charge, muttering about her being a wild filly. During one such outing, his vigilance is tested when he feels an unusual gaze and discovers a stranger watching Kyōka with a camera, raising the possibility that the young lady has attracted a stalker. The setting is contemporary Japan, focusing on the pair's travels through various locales as the devoted yet irritable butler works to protect his unpredictable mistress.
The complete manga was published as a single volume by KADOKAWA, with the comedian-authors listed as the creators, and appeared in the magazine Comic Gene.
