Amakusa Shirō, the teenage leader of the Shimabara Rebellion from the 17th century, suddenly finds himself alive in present-day Japan. Known as the Son of God for his charisma and miraculous deeds, he arrives in the modern world alongside Yagawa Tsuguru, a manager at a YouTuber talent agency, and Tsuguru's brother Hinata. Determined to fulfill his mission of saving people, Shirō realizes that in the Reiwa era, influence is measured by online followers. He decides to become an influencer, aiming to gather believers and followers through social media and video platforms. The story follows Shirō as he navigates the clash between his 17th-century sensibilities and contemporary internet culture, entering auditions for YouTuber groups to recruit virtual retainers. As his follower count grows, so does the absurdity of historical figure managing modern fame. The narrative takes a turn when Shirō suddenly finds himself transported back to the Edo period, forcing him to apply the lessons of modern influence to the chaos of the Shimabara era. The manga concludes with Shirō bridging his two worlds in the final volume.
