Description
Touji, a twenty-year-old freelancer, became infamous after an incident involving his parents that left him labeled a murderer’s child. To avoid attention, he drifts through inconspicuous part-time jobs, keeping everyone at arm’s length. While working at a supermarket, he is pulled into a dispute between an employee and a rude customer, which leads him to cross paths with Sakuya, a beautiful high school girl. Sakuya possesses a gift called Super Eye—an extraordinary memory and perceptive ability that some compare to a camera. Despite her talent, she struggles to adapt to school life and feels isolated. When Touji learns that his apartment building is scheduled for demolition, he is offered a cheap share house. By chance, Sakuya becomes his roommate, and the two—both misfits in a society that does not easily accommodate them—begin living together. Their uneasy coexistence slowly gives way to mutual understanding as they navigate their shared isolation, confront their pasts, and try to build a new kind of family. The story follows their daily lives, the growing bond between them, and the challenges they face, including the threat of losing the share house and the need to find additional housemates. It is a quiet human drama about healing, empathy, and learning to belong.
