Feelings of depression and unexplained irritation may not just be ordinary stress but signs that a small, invisible bug has taken root inside a person. The members of the Mushikui tribe possess the ability to see these bugs and, more importantly, to eat them, relieving people of their unwanted emotions. One such member is Hitaki, who one day encounters a strange creature that only he can perceive. His fellow tribe member Mozu cannot see it at all. The creature turns out to be a divine being of virginity, visible only to those who are still virgins. Hitaki, Mozu, and this virginity god become entangled in a series of lighthearted, comedic situations as they navigate daily life, the quirks of the Mushikui tribe's bug-eating tradition, and the peculiar dynamics that arise from a god only one of them can see. The manga follows their interactions in a modern setting where supernatural elements blend with everyday humor, centering on the mishaps and misunderstandings that come from dealing with invisible pests and even more invisible gods.
