Description
The ordinary high school girl Tohoku Zunko is living a normal life when a mysterious creature named Zundamon suddenly appears before her. Zundamon has no memories other than her own name. Hoping to find someone who recognizes or knows about Zundamon, Zunko’s younger sister Kiritan suggests uploading a video of Zundamon online. This idea sparks the creation of the streaming channel Zundamon TV. The story follows Zundamon, Zunko, Kiritan, and the friends they make as they pour their energy into producing videos in an effort to recover Zundamon’s lost past.
Zundamon is a small, energetic being with a strong personality and a love for zunda-mochi, a traditional sweet from the Tohoku region. Zunko is a kind but slightly flustered high school student who becomes the channel’s main anchor. Kiritan is her sharp younger sister who often acts as the brains of the operation. As the channel grows, the group’s videos attract attention not only for their entertainment value but also because they accidentally reveal that the Tohoku family possesses strange supernatural abilities. This draws curious visitors and unexpected complications into their daily lives.
The narrative moves through several phases. The first major arc establishes the premise: Zundamon’s arrival, the decision to start streaming, and the early chaotic attempts at content creation. Later arcs explore the rising popularity of the channel and the increasing interference from outsiders who sense the family’s hidden powers. The story balances lighthearted comedy, school life episodes, collaboration streams with other characters, and eventually escalating conflicts that lead to supernatural battles. Throughout, the central mystery of Zundamon’s identity and lost memories remains the emotional anchor. Despite the growing chaos, the characters’ bond and their determination to keep broadcasting drive the plot forward.
