Aizawa, a shy and self-conscious college student working part-time at a café, harbors a secret crush on his co-worker Risa Shiomi but cannot bring himself to confess because of his social anxiety. His hopes are crushed when he notices Risa becoming flustered around the café’s handsome manager, Rion Shirakane. Overwhelmed by a sense of inferiority, Aizawa abruptly quits his job. However, before he can walk away, Rion stops him and makes a surprising offer: he wants to be friends with Aizawa.

What follows is an offbeat buddy comedy centered on the unlikely bond between the anxious, introverted Aizawa and the charismatic yet strangely obsessive Rion. Rion completely disregards Aizawa’s reluctance and repeatedly drags him into unpredictable and chaotic situations, all while insisting on their friendship. Meanwhile, Aizawa struggles to sort out his lingering feelings for Risa, who remains a regular presence at the café.
