Misano Neko is a twenty-five-year-old unemployed aspiring manga artist. After yet another unproductive meeting with his editor, he returns home feeling defeated. There, standing outside his door, is a man with the unsettling appearance of a murderer. The man looks at Neko, calls him God, and begins to shower him with relentless, inexplicable kindness. Neko has no idea who this stranger is or why he is being treated as a deity.
