Description
Tara Jayne is the professional name used by American voice actress Tara Sands, who has built an extensive career in anime dubbing, animation, and audiobook narration since the late 1990s. She is frequently credited as Tara Jayne for earlier roles and as Tara Sands for later work.

Her career in anime began with her first voice acting job on the Pokémon franchise, and she became one of the original English voice actresses for the series. She provided the voice for numerous characters in the anime, most notably the recurring role of Bulbasaur. Her work in the Pokémon universe extends to several films, where she voiced Bianca in Pokémon Heroes - Latias & Latios, Sammy in Pokémon 4Ever, and Tory Lund in Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys. She also voiced the Pokémon characters Smoochum and Teddiursa in the video game Pokémon Channel. She also voiced Chase in Fighting Foodons and took on leading roles such as Hikaru Shidou in Rayearth and Tiara in Shamanic Princess.

Beyond the roles listed in the prompt, Sands has demonstrated a wide vocal range, often playing young boys in addition to female characters. This is exemplified by her long-running role as Mokuba Kaiba in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters series and its film sequel. Her filmography includes a mix of titles, from children's entertainment to more mature OVA series, reflecting the diversity of work available in the dubbing industry during her early career. Some of her notable later anime roles include Anna Kyoyama in Shaman King, Kari Kamiya in Digimon Adventure tri., and Biscuit Krueger in Hunter x Hunter.

In addition to her voice work, Sands has a substantial career as an audiobook narrator, having recorded hundreds of titles including the Sammy Keyes series. She was also the on-camera co-host of the Cartoon Network programming block Fridays for over 100 episodes from 2005 to 2007.
