Laurent Gris is a French voice actor known for his work in the dubbing of anime series and animated productions. Originally from the island of Mauritius, he began his career in the field of post-synchronisation in the mid-2010s. His early entry into the profession was supported by established figures in French dubbing, including directors Benoît du Pac, Thierry Wermuth, and Julien Kramer. Before focusing on voice acting, Gris gained experience in video and audio production, working as an assistant editor and providing voice-overs for various television programs and commercials.

Gris has built a substantial portfolio of roles in anime, lending his voice to a wide array of characters across different genres. He is recognized for his performance as the calculating Floki in the French dub of Vinland Saga, a role he reprised for the series' second season. In the psychological thriller Tomodachi Game, he voiced the character Banri Niwa. His work in the Overlord franchise includes voicing the lizardman chieftain Shasuryu Shasha across multiple seasons, as well as other characters like Lockmeier and Roberdyck.

His other notable anime credits include the role of Vulcan Joseph in Fire Force and its second season, Kureno Soma in Fruits Basket 2nd Season and Fruits Basket: The Final, and Shirō Ashiya in the later seasons of The Devil Is a Part-Timer!!. He has also contributed to popular series such as BNA: Brand New Animal (as Giuliano Flip and Kōichi Ishizaki), I'm Standing on 1,000,000 Lives (as Cantil), Ultramarine Magmell (as Chester), Baki Hanma (as Iron Michael), and the Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan OAV (as Okuyasu Nijimura). His filmography further demonstrates his range with roles in Jujutsu Kaisen, Hell's Paradise, and Dorohedoro, among many others.
