Yuka Aisaka
Description
Yuka Aisaka is a Japanese voice actress and singer born on September 5, 1990, in Chiba Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent agency Apte Pro. Her journey into voice acting began after she developed a passion for anime in her childhood, inspired by series such as Cardcaptor Sakura. She pursued this interest by enrolling at the Tokyo Visual Arts Vocational School, from which she graduated in 2012 before joining her agency.
Aisaka's professional debut came in 2014. She was an original member of the voice acting unit L.I.N.K.s, formed in connection with the multimedia project Ange Vierge. Her first major television anime role that same year was as Kotone Noda in the series Sakura Trick. This marked the beginning of a busy period in which she secured numerous roles, including Aika Tsube, the heroine Tail Blue, in Gonna be the Twin-Tail!!, and Muse in Amagi Brilliant Park.
Throughout her career, Aisaka has built an extensive filmography across anime, original net animations (ONA), and video games. In anime, she is known for roles such as Usa-tan in Etotama, Hinata Yamabuki in Active Raid, and Masaki in The Lost Village. She also voiced the character Lilac in Recovery of an MMO Junkie and Silver Fox in Kemono Friends. In 2018, she took on the role of the racehorse girl Narita Brian in the first season of the popular multimedia franchise Uma Musume Pretty Derby. She later voiced Matama Akoya, also known as Loco Musica, in the 2024 series Gushing Over Magical Girls.
Aisaka has also been active in original net animations, providing the voice for Sayaka Ogata in Sword Gai: The Animation Part II and Yuno Kashiki in the MILGRAM project. Her work in video games is particularly notable. She is widely recognized for her leading role as the alchemist Sophie Neuenmuller in the Atelier series, starting with Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book in 2015 and reprising the role in its 2022 sequel. She also voices the character Ameth in the popular game Princess Connect! Re:Dive, a role she also performed in the anime's second season, and its predecessor Nebbia in the original Princess Connect game. Other significant video game roles include Stella in World Flipper and Mayu Kozue in Magia Record.
In addition to voice acting, Yuka Aisaka has pursued a career as a singer. She made her solo artist debut in 2016 under the Flying Dog label with the single Tōmei na Yozora, which was used as the ending theme for the anime Active Raid. Her second single, Cerulean Squash, was released later that same year. Both singles charted on the Oricon charts. She has also performed theme songs for several anime series in which she acted, including Gonna be the Twin-Tail!! and Ange Vierge.
In 2018, Aisaka announced a temporary hiatus from some of her activities to recover from vocal strain. She returned to voice acting in 2019 and has continued to work steadily in the industry since then.
