Reshel Mae

Description
Reshel Mae is an American voice actor known for her work in English dubs of anime series, primarily for the Crunchyroll platform. Born in San Jose, California, her interest in performance began in high school theater, leading her to pursue a formal education in the field. She earned an Associate's Degree in Theater from Central Texas College and a Bachelor's Degree in Theater from the University of North Texas.

Mae's path to voice acting was influenced by her lifelong interest in anime and video games. She began by participating in fan-based and independent projects in 2018, using a gaming headset as her first microphone before building a professional home studio. A strategic move to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where the anime dubbing studio Funimation (now Crunchyroll) is based, allowed her to submit her materials and begin working with the company in 2021.

Mae has built a substantial portfolio of anime voice roles. She provided the voice of Sylphy Marheaven in the series The Greatest Demon Lord is Reborn as a Typical Nobody and voiced Origa Calmeria in The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made. Other notable roles include Lishu in The Apothecary Diaries, Yuki Suou in Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian, Ivy in The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash, and Lumi in Sweet Reincarnation. Her casting spans a wide range of series, with additional credits in shows such as Black Summoner, Shangri-La Frontier, and More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers.

A significant milestone in her career was being cast as the Typhoon Devil in the Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc Movie, marking her first role in a theatrical release. In addition to her work in anime, Mae has voiced characters in video games and independent animations and has appeared in commercials for brands like Samsung and Dell Alienware, as well as a guest role on the television series Walker. She is represented by Acclaim Talent.
