Alex Mai is an American voice actor known for his work in English dubs of anime series. Born on July 24, 1992, in Jacksonville, Florida, he developed an interest in performance early on and studied theater at the University of Florida's School of Theatre & Dance, graduating in 2014. Following his education, he moved to Dallas, Texas, to pursue a career in voice acting, working with studios such as FUNimation Entertainment, Sound Cadence Studios, and Studio Nano.

Mai has built a diverse portfolio of anime voice roles. He is the voice of Arajin Tomoshibi, the protagonist of the MAPPA original anime Bucchigiri?!. He also voices Akane Aoi in the English dub of the anime adaptations Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun and its spin-off, After-School Hanako-kun. His other notable roles include Manga Fukidashi in My Hero Academia, Ryuji Amagai in Shoot! Goal to the Future, and Xiang Yi in the long-running series Kingdom. Beyond these, his career includes work on series such as Reign of the Seven Spellblades, The Apothecary Diaries, and The Legendary Hero Is Dead!. In 2024, he took over the role of Kazuya Kinoshita in the English dub of Rent-a-Girlfriend for its fourth season.
