Kumi Sakuma is a Japanese voice actress born on November 2, 1976, in Chiba Prefecture. She is a graduate of the Katsuta Voice Actor Academy and the Japan Narration Acting Institute. Currently, she is affiliated with the talent agency Amuleto, having been previously associated with Arts Vision.

Sakuma's professional voice acting career began in 1997 with a role in the anime Legend of the Mystical Ninja. One of her early prominent roles was as Momoko Koigakubo in the 2000 television anime series Ghost Stories. A significant moment in her career came in 2002 when she was selected on short notice to voice Lettuce Midorikawa, also known as Mew Lettuce, in the popular series Tokyo Mew Mew, stepping in for a previous cast member. She is also widely recognized for her long-running role as Momo Hinamori in the anime Bleach, a character she has voiced from 2005 through to the series' final arc, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, in 2022.

Her voice acting portfolio includes a diverse range of characters across various media. In the Tenchi Muyo! franchise, she plays the role of Kiriko Masaki in the series Tenchi Muyo! GXP. She is the voice of Ciel in the OVA series Carnival Phantasm. Her other anime roles include Nanami Akesaka in Recently, My Sister is Unusual, Mikan in Ladies versus Butlers!, Faye in Another Lady Innocent, Seina Katsura in Best Student Council, and Tōko Hizuki in Kagaku na Yatsura. In the Shining Tears X Wind television anime, she voiced Reia Hiruda. She also played Yukie Kitazawa in the Immoral Sisters OVA and Iori Yoshizuki in the From I"s OVA. Her work also extends to video games, where she is well-known for voicing Ciel in the Melty Blood series. She also voiced Garnet Sunday in the Super Robot Wars OG series, Reia Hiruda in Shining Wind, and the character Alpina in Viper GTS.
