David Nathan is a German voice actor and dubbing artist, born on March 16, 1971, in East Berlin. He is the son of voice actor Michael Pan and began his career working in the DEFA dubbing studios as a child. After leaving the German Democratic Republic before the fall of the Berlin Wall, he quickly found work in the dubbing studios of West Germany. He is considered one of Germany's most well-known and prolific voice actors.
Nathan's voice is familiar to German audiences for his consistent dubbing of international stars, most notably Johnny Depp and the late Paul Walker, including Walker's role as Brian O'Connor in the Fast & Furious film series. Beyond his film work, he has an extensive career narrating audiobooks, particularly the works of Stephen King, and has won multiple awards for his audio work, including the German Audiobook Award. He also tours Germany with live stage readings with his colleague, voice actor Simon Jäger.
