Nessym Guetat is a Belgian actor, primarily active in the field of dubbing, who has lent his voice to numerous animated series and films for the French-language market. Born on May 18, 1973, he initially trained in theater and drama in Belgium before transitioning to voice work. He was active in Belgian dubbing circles until 2006, after which he relocated to France to continue his career in Parisian studios.

Guetat is perhaps best known for his long-standing role as the voice of Miaouss, the charismatic talking Pokémon, in the French adaptation of the Pokémon anime for its first eight seasons. This early and prominent role established him as a familiar voice to a generation of French viewers. His other iconic roles in animation include Seto Kaiba in Yu-Gi-Oh! and Reiji Namikawa in Death Note.

In more recent productions, Guetat has taken on a variety of characters. In the critically acclaimed series Ranking of Kings, he voiced the character Despa. He also contributed to the series in an additional role as Boan. For the Netflix anime Beastars, he was the voice of Collot, a member of the drama club, as well as Sanou. His versatility extends to other science-fiction and fantasy titles, such as playing Dr. Jack Pudding Clown in Levius and Henry Leobolt in the fantasy musical series Lost Song. His filmography also includes the role of Tamiya in Tokyo Tribe 2.

Beyond these credits, Guetat has been the regular French dubbing voice for several prominent live-action actors, including Frank Grillo, Taylor Lautner, Alexander Skarsgård, Ed Westwick, and Marwan Kenzari. In addition to his acting work, he is also a musician and composer, creating instrumental music for various media projects.
